If you have a massive Space Trek Fleet Wars binge and read through the whole saga in a couple of sittings (like I just did), you might notice the characters swing in and out of the limelight a little.And Becky and Tom in particular - the key original couple - have been on the back burner for a few comics, haven't they.
Trouble with having quite a few characters (and it taking so long to render each scene) is that you can't really cover everybody all the time, otherwise each comic would either be 500 pages long, or stupidly jump about and be just sex scenes with no explanation. And if that's the kind of comic you're after, heck there's plenty of others out there that do that. In fact they all do that, eh. I'm not really into that - I'm more the slow build-up, slightly-more-believable type of comic producer I guess.
In the later comics, I've preferred to concentrate on the most awkward/human thing out there! So Blue Steel is Zan's main event (and she hasn't featured much since). Becky and Tom haven't had much focus since Bum Deal - again because that comic was all about those two. Hayley and Victor haven't had much airtime since Firmware - same deal, same reason, even though there was loads of potential - Hayley's lost virginity and eating out Luce was just skipped over so I could focus on Ix and Xho. Common theme is that I go for an awkward storyline, explore it slowly, then get those characters out of the spotlight to give others a chance.
It's not really to tease the fans, it's actually just my wanting to do a single brother-sister storyline and have it be believable. So there we are.
Anyway it's getting late and I'm sitting at the back of a pub and it's Friday evening so it's getting a bit busy in here for my liking:- I'd better hit Publish and get the hell out of here, before people get a view of my screen! If you've just walked into a pub in Holloway and saw someone sheepishly grab their laptop and shuffle out, that was me! Byeee! *runs*

Why not have tom be a badass in the next one, with more guns than Rambo, and more ass kicking than Bruce Lee.

The solution (imagine me grinning with eyes sparkling with amusement) is to not end the comic after 20 but keep going until we're all sated (which will never happen). Your comics are just in a league of their own when it comes to 3D comics.

I couldn't agree more with you, but I still wish tom was a little bit more active when the shit hits the fan, instead of getting tost off by Becky or zan while ix is dogfighting bounty hunters.
Anticipation between pages can help; I wish you'd story board it and do a trickle release a page a day or a couple pages a week as the renders are complete.
Accidental touching, prudish nip slips and involuntary arousal, pranks, playful bondage, secret forbidden encounters, these are things that keep my attention. As far as this last comic goes, the story was great, I laughed when you had the characters talking directly to the reader, perhaps the most memorable. However, I enjoyed the sex from at least 3 of the previous editions better.
Xho and Tom would be 100% awkward, and therefore the focus of the next comic, is what I'm hearing.
I'd like it if tom piloted the x-wing in the fabuloso fight.
As much as I love this comic, and believe me I do, why haven't we seen any lightsabers in this at all... It is based in the star wars and star trek universe.
We had transporter beems in the second or third issue but never lightsabers... WTF!
PS...why not make a lightsaber dildo or double ender, do the star wars episode 1 quarter staff and switch it from lethal to pleasure penetrator, just a thought.

Yeah I was going to have Tom be a major fighter in the next one, but thinking about fight choreographics, it's a bit of a nightmare in CG - don't know if I can be bothered! He's a hero though, no doubts there :)
More ... sex you say? I might do one that's just long conversations and no plot, see how long the fanbase lasts haha :D
Thanks very much! I think it's nice to have a round number like 20, do a proper series rather than stringing it out beyond the ideas drying up. Not that lack of ideas has ever been a problem, but you know.
Yeah he could do with some more action, for sure. At least Xho has done some fairly heroic stuff so it's not totally one-sided
Yeah I used to trickle each page out on the blog years ago but it kinda ruined the enjoyment of the comic as a whole story so I'll stick with releasing them in chunky comiccy chapters :)

I've honestly thought about Tom and Xho quite a lot, but I don't know it'll make it into the comic. What I was going to do was have Tom walk up behind Xho, thinking it was Ix, get a bit smoochy and then realise 'she' had no boobs, cue super awkward conversation haha. But I don't know they'll start humping each other, nearest they'd get is probably some spit-roasting.
Yeah cos the only Star Wars stuff came through the wormhole in comic 3 - so the X-Wing and Lucy and Zan are Star Wars, everything else is Star Trek. Hence no lightsabers but lots of transporters/uniforms/federation references.
