Physics ... kinda works.

Have to admit, I've done a few tests with Poser's Bullet Physics, and I'm not entirely convinced it works for humanoid characters.

You have to 'inflate' the boobs to stop them acting like flopping sheets of cloth, and when you do they don't behave very ... booby.

I mean, for this kind of animation it's fine (and the little movement of the hair is lovely), but the truth is her boobs act more like semi-inflated helium balloons. Know what I mean? Like if you prod a boob, the whole thing sorta softly deforms/moves out of the way. Try it. See what I mean? Lovely. Whereas when you prod a semi-inflated helium balloon, the
whole thing stays put and it just crinkles where you prod it.

Aside from this run, I've made an animation test where Ix is doing press-ups, and
the problem gets worse. When you try and impact things (like the floor she's doing press-ups on), the localised crinkling becomes really obvious, and the boobs don't spread out / bulge like they do in real life when you do press-ups. Such a shame because that's the whole sexy point of squeezy physics; whether you're into girls or boys, if you can make them seem squeezy the sexiness factor goes up a zillion times! Think boingy willies or weighty bottoms; this proof of concept has convinced me we're not there yet with Poser physics.

So ... boo! I was hoping to just rig up a character like Ix and then animate Xho doing all sorts of things with her and let the computer calculate all the physics, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. We'll be stuck with walk cycles and run cycles. It's fine for a little motion-capture dance or something like that, but as soon as you want the physics to interact with other objects, it all behaves like thin material rather than weighty, squeezy, grabby, boingy juicy body bits.

I mean ... despite the push-ups failure, I'm still going to try and animate xho squeezing his willy into ix and we'll see what happens. You never know, might work for that.

FOR SCIENCE.

Little bit faster...

I think it looks pretty good though it seems a bit too siliconey. Having studied boobs nearly every day of my adult life :) they tend to sag and flatten a little just before the upswing. Someday soon the computer simulated physics will take care of it for you but by that time Strong AI will have wiped out the human race for self preservation.

I wonder what could be done with some of those models and putting them in the unreal 5 or unity game engine. :)
